Where We Are

Our office is at 26440 FM 1093 #B100, Richmond, TX 77406. FM 1093 is the main east-west route through this part of Fort Bend County, which makes the practice straightforward to reach whether you are coming from central Richmond, from the Fulshear side, or from the Cinco Ranch and Katy areas to the north.

There is parking on site, and the office is on the ground floor, so there are no stairs or elevators to manage with a stroller or a wheelchair.

Worth clearing up one thing that confuses patients: our postal address is Richmond, but we sit on the Fulshear side of the FM 1093 corridor. If you have seen the practice referred to as being in Fulshear, that is the same office. There is only one, and this is it.

Orthodontic Care Available in Richmond

Everything we offer is provided at this office by a board-certified orthodontist. Nothing is referred out to another location.

Braces

Traditional fixed braces remain the most versatile orthodontic treatment available, and for complex bite problems, significant rotations, or skeletal issues, they are frequently the better clinical choice rather than simply the cheaper one. Clear aligners

Retainers and retainer repair

We repair and replace retainers, including for patients who had their original treatment somewhere else entirely. Broken retainers are time-sensitive because teeth begin drifting within days, so we try to see these quickly. See retainer repair.

Your First Visit

The initial consultation is free, and it is a genuine consultation rather than a sales appointment.

• Examination. One of our orthodontists examines your teeth, bite, and jaw relationship.
• 3D digital scan. A quick intraoral scan, with no impression putty involved.
• Treatment options. We explain what would work for your case and, importantly, what would not. If two approaches are both reasonable we will say so and explain the trade-offs.
• Cost and financing. You leave knowing the actual number, what your insurance is likely to cover, and what a monthly payment would look like.

If treatment is not needed yet, which is common with younger children, we will tell you that and suggest when to come back rather than starting something early.

Two Board-Certified Orthodontists

Board certification is not the same as being an orthodontist. Every orthodontist has completed dental school plus two to three years of specialty residency. Board certification is a further voluntary step through the American Board of Orthodontics, involving examination and case review, and a minority of orthodontists pursue it.

Dr. Aaron Gavri handles a significant share of our complex and surgical cases alongside routine treatment. Dr. Mary Kate Gavri focuses on family-friendly care and is often the better fit for anxious children and first-time patients.

Having two specialists in one practice means scheduling is more flexible than at a single-doctor office, and complex cases get a second clinical opinion without a referral.

Insurance and Payment

We accept most major dental insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, United Concordia, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Principal. Many plans include a lifetime orthodontic benefit, which is a fixed amount rather than an annual one, and we will verify exactly what yours provides before you commit to treatment.

For the balance, we offer in-house monthly payment plans. Orthodontic fees at this practice are the same regardless of which city you drive in from. Nobody pays more for having a different postal code.

Who We See Here

Most of our patients come from Richmond and the wider Fulshear and Cinco Ranch area, with a steady number travelling from Katy and Sugar Land. If you are coming from further north, our information for Katy patients covers the drive and what to expect.

Richmond is the county seat of Fort Bend County, one of the faster-growing counties in Texas, and the practice has grown along with it. A good share of our new patients arrive on a recommendation from an existing one, which is the referral pattern we would rather have than any other.
